Description in the form of additional information which is usually located under
the image or photo.
Usually the caption only consists of a few words or sentences.

What is the caption function?
Helping readers or viewers to understand more information that might not be in photos or videos.
Caption Text Social Function
Caption Text have a social function, namely to provide basic information about an object.
Even
though it's short, you can't write captions. It takes language that is
interesting but still informative so that what is in the picture can be
conveyed properly.
Caption Text Structure
- The Opening ( Opener )
is usually an image written in a larger size to attract the attention of the reader.
- Content
contains concise information to explain the image.
- The Closing Section
is usually additional information that has not been conveyed in the content.

Questions
start with the word "what" and use the verb "do" then the answer is the
activity in the picture, we can also find it in the first sentence
because "they" is a pronoun for "Jakartans". So the answer to question

4. Where did the picture publish?
The
question starts with "where" then the answer is related to the place
published or the media. We can see at the end of the caption there is
the name of the media and Writer. The answer isThe picture is published on The Jakarta Post.

begin with the word "why" the desired answer is the reason for writing
the text. Then we can answer to describe the picture of person i riding
